Contrada d'Arena

A building complex in the old Contrada d’Arena, in the town’s historical centre, it gives onto the bridge and the no longer existing medieval door on the artificial arm of the river Lambro.

The complex was built between the 17th and the 19th century around the central court and the façade overlooking the street has extremely simple neoclassical forms. The buildings have been renewed, restored and converted for residential use.

In June, the little intimate inner courtyard is the setting of “Jazz nel cortile”, a jazz concert organized in collaboration with Monza Jazz Club.
